Every now and then, we like to take a step back and give some coverage on some cool young people doing great things. Kinetic (real name Thabo Monamodi) is one of those people. A young and talented musician, music blogger and aspiring businessman, we just wanted to give ourselves 5 minutes in the mind of another young creative who is patiently building a music empire. My name is Kinetic and I’m a house Dj/Producer/Label Owner/Events Manager
What’s integral to the work of an artist?
Creativity and originality… And Weed.

Why do you do what you do?
Because I love it and I live for it.
What role does the artist have in society?
An artist brings flair, emotion, colour and spunk to an otherwise dull and conservative society.
What work do you most enjoying doing?
Playing at the most happening parties (especially if the crowd is into deep house)
